How Cricket War Works Inside gold365

Cricket War is a structured cricket contest format where you assemble a squad from a live or scheduled match, allocate roles, and earn points as the real game unfolds. gold365 streams live scoring data directly into the contest engine so your points update ball by ball. Multiple contest tiers run simultaneously — from entry-level micro-battles to high-cap contests — meaning there is

always a room sized to your comfort. Providers powering the data feed include real-time cricket data partners integrated directly into the platform.

HOW WE RUN CRICKET WAR

Fair Play Principles Behind Our Cricket War Engine

Every Cricket War contest on gold365 runs on a verifiable points engine — scoring rules are published before each contest opens, and the same algorithm applies to every squad in the same…

Published Scoring Rules

Scoring weights for every Cricket War format — runs, wickets, catches, economy rate bonuses — are listed on the contest detail page before you enter, so you know exactly how points accumulate.

Real-Time Data Feed

Our Cricket War engine pulls from a certified live cricket data provider. Scores feed into the system ball by ball with a standard broadcast delay, consistent across every contest room simultaneously.

Equal Algorithm For All

The same points calculation runs for every squad in a given contest. No squad receives a data advantage or a delayed feed — the leaderboard reflects real performance, nothing else.

Contest Cap Transparency

Each Cricket War room shows its entry cap before you join. Once the cap is reached, the room closes — you will see the exact number of active squads on the contest lobby screen.

Provider Audit Trail

Score data passed into Cricket War is logged with timestamps from the data provider. In a dispute, we can produce the exact delivery-level record that was used to calculate your squad's points.

Account Security During Contest

Your squad selection is encrypted and locked at contest start. No changes to the submitted lineup are possible after the toss, and your entry record is stored securely on our servers.

What Sets Our Cricket War Apart

Cricket War exists in many forms across different platforms, but the contest structure, data quality, and room variety differ widely.

Ball-by-Ball Score UpdatesMany Cricket War platforms refresh scores over by over. Our engine updates each squad's points ball by ball, so the leaderboard shifts in real time — you see your rank change with every delivery.
Multiple Room FormatsWe run micro-battles, head-to-head, and full-match grand battle rooms simultaneously — not just one format per match. You choose the contest shape that matches how you want to engage with the game.
UPI Entry in SecondsContest entry via UPI or Paytm clears in under a minute, which matters when a room is filling fast close to the toss. We do not route you through slow intermediaries.
Transparent Leaderboard HistoryYour past Cricket War contest results — squad picks, points scored, leaderboard position — are stored in your account history so you can review how each pick performed after the match.
Mid-Match Role Swap OptionIn selected Cricket War formats, we allow a single mid-innings role swap before a defined cutoff over. Most platforms lock the squad at toss; our swap window gives you one strategic adjustment.
No Hidden Entry Fee StructureThe entry fee shown on the contest card is what is deducted — no service layer fees added at checkout. The split between the prize pool and platform fee is visible before you confirm entry.
PhonePe Withdrawal PathWinnings from Cricket War contests can be withdrawn directly to PhonePe or a linked bank account. Verification happens once; subsequent withdrawals process without repeated document requests.

Answers to Common Cricket War Queries

These are the questions we hear most from people who are new to Cricket War on gold365 or who want to understand how specific contest rules work before they enter a room.

Cricket War is a squad-based contest format where points are earned from live match events. Unlike season-long fantasy leagues, each Cricket War contest is self-contained — one match, one leaderboard, settled when the final ball is bowled.

Squad size depends on the room format. Flash match rooms use a seven-player squad; head-to-head rooms also use seven; grand battle and full-match rooms use a standard eleven. The squad cap is shown on the contest detail card before entry.

Your squad locks at toss time and cannot be changed after that point. In selected formats, a single mid-innings role swap is permitted before a stated cutoff over — the swap window is visible in the contest rules tab.

Your nominated captain earns 2x points on every ball-level action — runs, wickets, catches — during the contest. The vice-captain earns 1.5x. Both must be chosen from your squad before the toss locks the lineup.

The leaderboard refreshes ball by ball, sourcing data from our certified cricket data provider. Each delivery's runs, dismissals, and fielding actions feed into the points engine within seconds of the broadcast event.

Winnings settle to your gold365 wallet when the contest closes after the match. From there, withdraw via UPI, Paytm, or PhonePe. First-time withdrawals require a one-time identity check; subsequent requests process without re-verification.

We run Cricket War rooms for major international fixtures and select domestic tournaments where we have a reliable live data feed. Match availability is listed on the Cricket War lobby page and updates as fixtures are confirmed. Access depends on where local law permits.
